The Zap Gun, a makeshift laser weapon

This was made as a mod for fallout 4, as I felt the game could use an "energy weapon" equivalent to the Pipe gun (very modular early-game weapon). My goals were to make it feel part of the world of fallout while giving it a unique thrown together personality, as many of the more wacky weapons of the game have. I also looked to the older titles of the game for inspiration.

This is my first weapon made completely from scratch, from the concept/design to the model, textures, sounds and animations.

Modularity was also a key aspect, and I did my best to make each modification meaningful and different in terms of gameplay and feel (the animations and sounds play a key role in this as well).
